West Hartford Campus
Our next Admissions Open House Week is Monday, November 11 - Friday, November 15.
MSGH is accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), the highest accrediting body for Montessori education worldwide. All MSGH teachers have completed their AMI training, placing them among the most finely trained professionals in the Montessori field.
Our mixed-age, indoor/outdoor classrooms allow children to move freely and learn at their own pace using Montessori materials, while under the guidance of highly skilled, caring teachers. Extensive arts, music and cultural programming is integrated into the curriculum. We offer our children only whole foods, and food preparation is a daily part of the classroom environment.

Adolescent Program Open House
New Hartford Campus
Saturday, October 5 • 1:00-3:00p.m
The Adolescent Program at the Montessori School of Greater Hartford demonstrates consideration for the appropriate intellectual, social, physical, aesthetic, emotional and ethical development of students in all aspects of school and student life. The campus is located on a 30-acre farm with goats, sheep, chickens, honey bees, gardens, fields, woodlands, ponds, streams and a river. The environment, the curriculum and the guides (teachers) at the Adolescent Program provide opportunities for students to reach their maximum potential. The programs, envisioned and outlined by Dr. Maria Montessori, are designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of the young adolescent. Our curriculum is centered on rigorous academic studies and purposeful, land-based work that emphasizes the interconnectedness among all academic subjects.
To learn more about the coursework and program, join our faculty and students for our Admissions Open House on October 5, 2019.
