"Those whom nature has fitted to care for children see a change in them every day, almost every hour. They see these small changes as admirable. This is an art which cannot be acquired without effort. To encourage is to rejoice, so that the child sees that you are rejoicing."

- Maria Montessori

Keyna Cuevas grew up watching her mother excel as an exceptional elementary teacher, an experience that sparked her own passion for working with children.

She began her journey at MSGH in 2020 as an assistant in the Toddler Community, where she spent three years before moving to the Primary level, where she continues to work today. During the 2024–2025 school year, she also gained experience in the Elementary Aftercare program. In 2024, she earned her 0–6 Assistant Training Certification through AMI, a decision she considers one of the best she has ever made. Diving deeper into the Montessori philosophy strengthened her appreciation for the vibrant community she is proud to be part of.

Outside of school, Keyna is a proud mother of two children, Elaynah and Ethan. Together they cherish time at church and enjoy long road trips filled with singing contests and breathtaking scenery.

Keyna is excited about the opportunities for growth within the Montessori environment and looks forward to building connections with every child and parent who joins her classroom.
