Jessica Cote
Primary One Teacher
“The minute I walked through the door at MSGH I was hooked. I knew Montessori was what I had to be a part of, and I continue to cherish how we respect, embrace and love the whole child at each stage of his or her development. I feel so lucky to be a part of our community, where I see children who are happy and joyful in an environment that helps them grow physically, mentally and emotionally.”
Jessica joined the MSGH community in 2008, as an Assistant in a Primary classroom. Inspired by her work each day, she began her Montessori training while an intern in our All-Day Primary classroom. In 2012, Jessica received her AMI diploma from the Montessori Institute of San Diego and became the Primary One Guide.
Jessica also holds a BA in English from Central Connecticut State University and a Master’s degree from the University of Hartford in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Montessori.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and her son.
