About Us | Brenda McVerry

Brenda joined the MSGH community when her oldest son enrolled, followed by her two younger boys. During the time they attended, she volunteered in the classroom and was an active member of what is now our Family Association. After her children graduated, Brenda remained connected to MSGH by serving on the Board of Trustees.  In 2016, Brenda switched careers and followed her passion for Montessori. Since her work experience had included various positions in accounting and finance, Brenda took on the role of part-time Accountant in our Finance Office while supporting classrooms as a part-time Assistant. In 2018, Brenda had been assisting our Leaning Specialist while continuing her responsibilities as Accountant. Since 2021, Brenda has been fully supporting the Business Office. 

Brenda has a BA in Economics from Southern Connecticut State University, an MBA in Finance from the University of New Haven, and Paralegal Certificate from UCONN.  

Brenda has always loved the outdoors and, as an active adult, enjoys cycling, hiking and camping - especially with her 3 adult sons! She also likes to spend time gardening, playing games of mah jongg and bunko with friends, and attending her neighborhood book club.
