Amanda Rouleau

Primary Four Teacher

"It is a true honor to be with the children in the Primary environment. They are in such a dynamic stage of life; they’re taking in the world around them and gaining skills and capabilities that allow them to contribute to their community. I love being here to support them and watch them grow."

Amanda began her Montessori journey at MSGH six years ago as a substitute, spending most of her time in the Toddler and Primary classrooms. She fell in love with Montessori education and began her training at the Montessori Training Center Northeast and graduated with her Primary diploma in 2020, along with her Master’s degree in Early Education from the University of Hartford. While in training, she continued to work at Montessori schools in the Hartford area as a Primary Assistant. She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University. Now, she leads our Primary Four classroom.

In her free time, Amanda hikes with her husband and son, Cole. She loves to do yoga, read novels, garden and cook.
