“I am very happy to be back working in a Montessori environment. I love how the Montessori philosophy follows the child. Children are allowed to be themselves. I like the fact that the curriculum fosters their love of learning and that the child-sized and child-appropriate materials show respect for the child and encourage independence. In this environment, the teachers truly get to know each child and can meet individual needs.”
Lisa graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a B.A. in Psychology. She began her career at MSGH in 1997 as an Assistant to Orla Black in a Primary classroom. She left in 2005 and returned to us this year having accumulated 20 years of experience working with children. We are happy to have her back as her love of the classroom is apparent.
Outside the classroom, Lisa enjoys day trips with her husband and son, taking walks and trying new restaurants. She loves to sing and is a member in a local choir.
